In order to change watch faces on the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, you can use either the watch, or the Gear S2 application on your smart phone. While both of these methods work, the easiest and fastest one is to use the Galaxy Gear S2 application from your smartphone.

Change Watch Faces from Your Galaxy Phone

We will start this tutorial on how to change watch faces on the Galaxy Gear S2 smartwatch with the Gear Manager application installed on your Android smart phone.

To begin with we will need to have the Galaxy Gear S2 application open

When the application is open you will see that our watch face is the current standard for the Gear S2.

Tap on 'Watch faces' one time

This will bring up a list of watch faces.

After tapping on watch faces you may then tap any watch face to see it appear on your Galaxy Gear S2

This is how you update and change watch faces from your Samsung Galaxy phone, or any other phone connected to your Gear S2 and running the Gear Manager application.

Change Watch Faces from Your Gear S2

The other way you can update or change watch faces on the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 smartwatch is by using the watch itself with the watch.

With the watch unlocked, simply scroll the dial face to the right.

When you have done this, tap on 'Settings'

After you have tapped on 'Settings' you should see 'Display'.

After you have tapped on display you will see 'Watch Faces'.

Tap once on 'Watch Faces'

After you've tapped on 'Watch Faces', you can scroll left or right to select from different watch faces.

As you can see in the image below, we have now changed our watch face.

In order to change the watch face again, dial to the right.

Tap settings again, and repeat the process of pressing 'Display' and changing watch faces as we discussed earlier.
